The question I have is, do I wipe the black of the lettering right away? , are the letters supposed to be white or the chroming to shine through after the black is wiped off?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Just ordered it thanks!
the lettering at climate controller, lights, wipers, flasher, was originally white like the gauges markings. It's a lot easier to wipe the field are paint off exposing the chrome, which is what I did. The chrome does glare a bit from letter to letter making them a little harder to define/read.
