I've only had one Mopar. and it's a 1937 Dodge sedan. It's come a long way from stock. It has a mustang front suspension though. It has had the firewall moved back 3 1/2 inches to make room for a 1965, 413 cubic inch engine, and a 727 trans, and back to a 66 coronet rear with a 489 case, 323 suregrip. It has a Lokar 16 inch floorshift automatic. and matching e-brake. Tinted glass. Front windshield cranks out (stock). Out side the body is stock with twotone paint black and purple. Battery in the trunk. custom interior two tone kinda lilac, and purple. It's been in 8 weddings so far, won a couple trophies. I just enjoy driving it and answering all the questions people have at the car shows.

Welcome to FABO form a native Pennsylvanian. I grew up in Waynesboro. Just head West on 30 to Gettysburg, then cut across Jack's Mountain.

Nice ride. I love the way you made the interior look vintage.

:welcome: bet you have fun with that!! Very nice!!

Love it! So does the better half. Welcome from PA also!

WOW, what a greeting. There are really a nice group of people here. I hope to enjoy your company. There is so much to learn, and so little time. Big thanks to all of you, Rich

Welcome from another streetrodder from Colorado. Love the car. Mine is a 29 Chrysler and a little more on the hot rod side.

I like your 29. You will never have trouble keeping up with traffic. I know that's a real hoot to drive. My other car is a 1934 chevy 3 window coupe/rumble seat too. power comes from a 383 sbc 11:1. The best it has gone is 11.15@117. But I retired last year.

Good eye, I had the upolstry guy keep to the original stiching pattern with one inch pleats, and match the seats too. He did a great job. I tried to keep the car somewhat stock looking. I just wanted it to look like a 37 Dodge, with a few upgrades. I have been to Waynesboro, just 95 miles from home. I'am a veteran also army infantry 66-68.

Welcome from the upper northwest part of PA, go a few more miles further north and you'd be swimming!

Beautiful 37 you got there.

Good looking 34.
Hi Jaws, Yeah, about the 34, I came home from the army in 1968, went to visit an old friend and there it was sitt'in under an old buttonwood tree. So I said to Charlie, what are you doing with the 34. He smiled and said I'am trying to find some fool to buy it. So I said ,"here I am". And I got it for 180.00. It's a steel body car too. I have the fenders up in the attic. just put plastic ones on for drag racing. I've looked the year, make model, up in the books and they say production numbers were 14,365 were made. It is lots of fun too. We streetrodded it for years, and put 25,000 miles on it. Now it's back on the road again. This model is the MASTER not the standard. If my math is correct I've owned it 50 years, so far.

Actually for you, both are about the same distance depending on which route you take, either destination is about a 6 hour drive or less depending on traffic conditions.
I bought a carter AFB 3871 on e-bay, (45.00), picked up a rebuild kit today. This would have been on the 65, 413 when new. Just thought I would try it out, and see how it runs. It's only a 600cfm. I'am pretty sure the 413 isn't totally stock, with the rump in the cam and the crane gold roller rockers too. I did add a edelbrock performer RPM intake. What do you think?

Don't know anyone that runs a Performer, my Duster has a Torker on it, pulls pretty hard to 6000, don't know the CFM of the Holley, need to find out, when my brother bought the car it had a 700 double pumper on it.
