Anyone have luck changing the Dash lights while dash is in the car? I put new ones in when I had it out and now was thinking of going LED Blue. 4 Spd. pedals might make it impossible?
Just curious if someone has done it.

I recently changed out all the bulbs in my 68 dash.
It was pretty much impossible to get to them all with the dash still in place. Too tight of a space, too much stuff in the way, and too many sharp jagged things to dig into your hands and arms

Remove the 1 screw from the fuse box and set it out of its bracket,,, remove the headlight switch stem and bezel nut to reposition that switch, you can get a good bit of left arm in on this left side, kneeling in the door opening. You would still need to lay in the floor and reach up to right side. If this plan fails, no harm done, carry on with the panel R&R.

It’s. It a big deal to pull the dash out. Kim

I've pulled it before when I restored it . Just installed last year and your right. That ain't happening. That's why I was asking if it's doable in place . I know I can pull the fuse box and switch for left side (maybe) but pedals and column will probably hold me back on right side. I didn't know if anyone may have dis-connected the speedo cable and tilted instrument panel enough to get at them.
