Closer.... Turbo mufflers don't agree with my taste of sound. Magnaflow knock offs here ,x pipe kit ordered yesterday.
 
Sounds like you're 1/2 inch from runnin down the highway!

Taking My Dart to Fall Fling Saturday, pretty excited. It made it fine last time soooooooo
 
Been a while..
Took delivery of the converter, ordered all new ARP bolts flex plate and converter .
Ordered Jones exhaust Magnaflow muffler and a smaller , cleaner X pipe kit.
Started this week on exhaust, waiting on 45 degree mandrel bends and collectors.
Next a Kevco pan and pickup.

Can you describe more about what you think you don't like?

Also those huge X pipes bring the whole thing "closer to a single exhaust sound" for me.

I'm still thinking about a Quasi T/A setup on my Dart.........if I live that long

Del: Too much "resonance " with the turbo muffler setup ( no x ,nor crossover ). The x pipe does seem to quiet it down ,around city limits. ( on friends cars) Exhaust is all personal tastes.
T/A setup is nice , hopefully you get Blackie running .
 
Rereading all of this and I am tearing up. Somebody needs to get this car and finish it up in Tim's memory if at all possible. That would be really cool.

Maybe gather your words and let his sister know about this site and tell her if they plan to sell Tim's car stuff, to feel free to join and advertise it. I know if I had the money and the resources to get the car, I would do it. Now that I am fired back up again, I would finish it just like I thought he would. I am sure there is someone else in his area who feels the same way. At least then, his dream would be finished and another Mopar saved. Two things he would have loved.
 
I sent his sister another message, I really hope she replies so she can read the stuff here....
 
Makes me sad to think about how fast things can change. Is it time to come together to make this happened?

Without contact from his family members I’m not sure how we can do much as far as finishing his car...
 
We should all let this be a lesson to think before we speak. Myself in the front of that line. I would hate for someone to leave this world having said something hateful to them.
