I'm all for being safety and believe in tech. But I've dealt with some techs who acted like God. My first run in was when I drove my Road Runner over an hour to the strip. Pulled up to the tech line. A little fluid spilled out of my overflow. A guy comes over screaming at me to get my crap box off his road. Then told if so much a drip comes out of my car I won't be racing. Just then a Camaro with a steady stream of fluid drives by heading to the staging lanes. I pointed this out and he flips out even more on me. Telling me to mind my own business. Then he comes over to inspect my car. He locks my seatbelt together then puts his foot on my seat and then rips up on the belt. WTF! Great way to treat someone's car.
