This model is close cousin to the 69 dart!

Very nice! I miss my VG Ute, sold it last year after owning it for about 10. I also had a 70 VF Valiant, been gone longer now, it ended up in South America!

Nice.

I almost bought one of those a few years ago.

Silver with orange interior (believe factory colors) 245 six.

Yes I am in the Chicago area. A member of Moparts.com is an importer from Australia and brought both these cars to Garden Grove, CA where I purchased them. I love everything A-Body, and my dream is to get to Australia one day. I am currently looking for a VE Safari wagon, that one would be a keeper. I really liked the VG Ute, had lots of fun with it, but other priorities got in the way and a friend wanted it, so he has it now.

There is a Safari wagon floating around the Atlanta GA area.

225, 3 on the tree.

I've almost bought it twice, but it just never lines up for me.

The first time the owner (who was an FxBO member) died while we were in negotiations :(

I'd be OK with an AU car, or a BR A body Charger, or even an MX A body Super Bee for an "exotic".

I have acouple of old fords that I restored
my prize is a gt falcon coupe ( mad max)
but I tell you I am loving restoring this old girl.
As I said in my intro would you be intrested in sending me some small parts
like clips etc if I was to send them to you from acouple of different places &
you box them & send them via post office at my cost obviously & who nose
I could take you for a run one day to see that safari?

I saw the Safari ad on Craigslist, then it disappeared so I figured someone bought it. Let me know if it shows up again! I sold my Mexican Dart last year too, a Brazilian Charger would be awesome!

I send parts all over the world, so it would be no problem at my end. PM me and we will go from there.

AU falcon is also on my list.

Last year I found one about 75 miles from me, hiding in the background of a CL ad for another car!

Turns out I'm acquainted with the guy but he says it's not for sale...yet.

Thanks Hemi sstdart
I have no idea how to private message but I will work it out lol
YY1 au falcons are very cheap now but if you want a cheap rocketship
look at the ba ( the model after) inpaticular the turbo also known as a barra motor.
4litre inline six that can output 1000hp without too much fuss & the motor is being transplanted to many models these days
as well as imported to the states as I am to believe.
