9” or 10” clutch?

1965 Dodge Dart 170, 225 Slant, 3/tree, my clutch my be going bad. Options for replacement include a 9” or 10” clutch is there a way to find out which one I have without dropping the trans? Thanks in advance!!

Your car most likely left the factory with a 9-1/4" Auburn clutch and pressure plate. If it has been replaced in the fifty plus years of it's life it probably got a stamped cover assembly. If you surface the flywheel you can put a 10" stamped cover assembly back in because of the way the replacement 10" units bolt up on a 122 tooth flywheel. Pull your inspection cover to confirm.
The Auburn assembly will look like this:
