Oh I would not doubt if the tax payers foot the bill at all. Especially if its the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels.
I know for like Nascar races and such, the flyovers are figured into that unit's annual training, thus its paid for that way. but I don't know about the NFL or the Superbowl.
