Anyone else get a tax statement from Summit Racing?

Technically if you live in a non sales tax state you can show your state id and be exempt from paying a sales tax if your purchasing in a state that has a sales tax. Cant say I blame them, if they aren't made aware of this by their employer I would think it is a scam as well. Do you have anything to back up this claim? When I travel, I get to pay sales tax in whatever state has sales tax. After all, you did buy something in that state while standing at the register. Those people don't pay their state sales tax when visiting states that don't have sales tax. Income tax you can keep if you are a non resident working in a different state. Example, my Texas co-workers get their state income taxes back if they didn't work a full year when they get hired. I'd love to see the sales tax rules applied in person, watch the cashier's head explode!
