The reason I have all of these is when I got these 69 X heads with T/A rockers I was trying to figure out what they were, I was told they were 69 Stock class NHRA cheater heads. The heads were made in 2-69 and the T/A wasn't available till late 70.

Oh yea the heads have 5/16 tulip valves there are no guides just drilled 5/16"
hemi retainers and keepers, big block battleship springs and were machined for the T/A rockers. Do the rockers look like the ones in the picture?

Engine ****, lol! I could literally sit and look at this type of thing all day...

Funny you say that because an MSD distributer for a mopar is a ford distributer. (ford parts interchange) MSD

MSD make a front mount dizzy

only problem there is, MSD was founded in 1970, the one i was thinking of was used in the 40s

Old vintage mallory system on the flattie, one of the first aftermarket ignitions.

That's cool stuff. Ya the technology was there but the TA/AAR wasn't in production yet. They were working on that though back in 69

9500 rpm. Note the cast rocker arms from the TA/AAR 340's. Same stuff basically in a 273 2 barrel engine. Cast iron fellas. Cheap to produce, strong, and stable at high rpm.

Ductile Iron or Nodular iron is much stronger than just cast iron.

I love how it calls the little old ductile iron rockers "9500 RPM valve gear". That's awesome. lol
