I have been using a Milwaukee 2352 LED stick light. I have a bunch of Milwaukee 18v tools and this one is a nice addition. Maybe not the lightest (if you hang a big battery on it), but lasts a super long time, has two settings 300 lumens and 150 lumens. The led bulb is excellent because it doesn't get hot, if you drop it it won't burn out the bulb (like a CFL or conventional bulb). Portable, no cords, can be hung, the head swivels to direct the light where you need it. Is it cheap no, but you get what you pay for.
