I would give it a go, you will find that for some reason the bb headers in a Abody actually have more ground clearance than the some of the sb headers.
I don`t know about tri y headers , but , their is a set of s/steel "shorty type" new ones for sale in the Tulsa craigslist. Been in there for quite a while .
