LDR working man drag radial class

I remember the early days of 10 1/2 " tire classes............the idea was to keep it affordable and the logic was that you could only throw so much power at this size tire.
This was 2005 or so , I was at Houston Motorsports Park spectating.
632 inch Gene Fulton BBC's with four stages of spray were the norm , but small Fords with hair dryers as big around as 5 gallon pails were also running with them.
There is nothing cheap about them.
But 4.20 is definitely not entry level performance either , so if you are building a car for this class , you probably have a good idea of how empty your wallet is gonna be when you get there.
