5.9 & a solid roller

There used to be a guy that put a spacer in them that only allowed ~.020 movement. Just enough to have a cushion effect I think. Not a true solid lifter but pretty close. He made them in batches years ago.

Wouldn't a true solid roller lifter be lighter than the OE hydraulic lifter? That seems like a good upgrade.
I don’t have a scale on hand to measure grams but I do have both lifters available for weighing. That is a good question though.
My engine builder did put spacers in the stock magnum lifters making them solid. We are running the now solid lifters with a Crane hydraulic roller cam. The engine is turning 7000 -7200 rpm in the traps.
This is a stock Magnum block correct?
Any oil mods done?
