Gears are thinner and much lighter than the old GM ones. They were used but they sure don’t look it. Very pleased. I got the intake started after some practice. After I got the welding areas clean I put it in front of the torpedo heater for a while to try to get it a little warmer. I got it tacked in place. Once I melt and fill over all my blemishes (hehe), I will have my friend hog out the center at the machine shop and clean it up. I’m going to have him find the low spot and mill it flat so it isn’t pitching forward anymore. The last picture here is my rudimentary photo editing skills to depict what will be missing from the center plenum. Then I can fit my spacer plate that the connects the intake to the blower. 11C8BE1E-5182-40E9-AEC8-B462EB349865.jpeg 95646DB5-7BB2-46F6-A882-D6F4D77D940F.jpeg AA762C30-2A23-4E59-B987-840E2AA32FEF.jpeg F80345D3-6F8D-4124-898D-6558084454CA.jpeg 4BE92E34-45EB-4159-8A51-2E967F7C0A85.jpeg 710E839D-B919-4214-B74B-7635BEABC966.jpeg A7D38EE7-5BA8-4146-B3BF-ED067ED37DD5.jpeg
