What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Got the electronic ignition wired up and ECU mounted in a good place I think. Came out looking pretty clean. Got a throttle cable that actually works. Best thing of all, back on all fours with new shoes. Still need to finish up the Hellwig sway bar. Tti head pipes can go in now that I have the T-bars in. These 1.03” bars and Bilstein shocks made a big difference. Front end stiffened up a lot. Those .85” bars were shot.

Finally took her out for a 30 mile drive today....between work and rain, I haven't had her out in 2 weeks!
Ran like a top!

Transmission is absolutely awesome!
99% of my problems after installing were the throttle pressure linkage adjustment. ....very touchy but VERY critical to proper operation!!!

Man i agree other than yesterday and today it has rained since March! It just wont stop. Then when it stops raining it snows. Then starts raining again. Yesterday was the first day i really accomplished anything since November its been either raining or to damn cold.

Put a few tools away. Fixed a friends scooter.
Got a call today that the transmission is done. I called about the engine and it will be done by Friday. Looking forward to getting the March perfomance kit and other goodies bolted on.
 
Picked up our rebuilt 904 transmission today. Picking up rebuilt engine Saturday. Got the donar car moved out of the shop and out of the way today.
Gonna be a Mopar weekend.
 
Fun day with a happy ending..... I had to use a screw to remove the rope rear main. (must be some humor in there somewhere)

Washed my car and detailed the brand new aluminum wheels and then drove it in the rain yesterday.
Washing it again today to get all the road oil off now that the rain broke.:D
