Didn't realize I never followed up on this.
The MRI showed completely torn supraspinatus and infraspinatus tendons at the humerus. -Part of what is commonly called "rotator cuff".
It's been almost 5 months (Sep 13) since they sewed me back together. Four months of therapy. My last therapy appointment is Tuesday. I'm probably about 90%. I did almost the same thing to my right shoulder 3 years ago, so I know that it'll take a year to a year and a half to be "all there".
My surgeon happens to be the guy who repaired the Phila Eagles' Alshon Jeffrey's rotator cuff last year. I told him to tell Alshon to watch out next season! :)
