How many quart oil pan is it? Stock is 4+ quart is the Mildon 7 quart? Typically it would be the width or length of the pan that increases the volume and depending on the model, the depth. Under filling could be dire whereas over filling could be damaging also. I would think that if this is a 7 quart pan than you would want to see 7 quarts on the stick
