I'd also recommend this intake manifold I know on my very first 318 I used a Edelbrock 318 streetmaster and it worked pretty well. At the same time I put a 340 grind cam and headers. there's probably a better combination but it's what I used and could find cheap parts at the Swap Meet to do..
