5.9 & a solid roller

I poked around the Hughes site and they sell their "Race Max" solid roller lifters for Magnums; listed as having 270 grams weight, 1.756" seat height (about .500" less than a factory hyd. roller) and oil pressure fed to the roller bearing axles and pushrods. For $655 + fees, plus it sounds like they're meant to work without block mods... I'd rather do that than a heavy factory lifter stuffed with washers lol

Welllllll, it depends on what your doing I guess. If it works, it works. I don’t remember hearing out prior to yesterday
Ok, thanks for clearin that up. The whole W head thing was blowin my mind. I was thinkin, where the heck did that come from.

I don't know if he has done it or not, but maybe @Bighead440 will chime in.
Oh yea, no problem Bobby!
Toluene56, remembered I have W5’s at the ready. (Close to it) and assumed correctly that is where there going but that is not (and hopefully not) an issue. He listed the TD set up, which is where I want to go. I could do a standard LA W 2/5 set up as the head can oil through. But not the block as cast of course.) It’ll be a while before I get there.
(WAS hoping to be there already but.....)

I was just wondering who may have installed a whopper of a cam and gone racing with a Magnum block and if they did anything. So guys are daring/smart/stupid (?) and will just stick it with a monster cam and go.

Enquirering minds wanna know......
Because ya never know
