Could that actually be possible?? LOLYou could always run a high volume oil pump, drill the block and oil BOTH ways. lol

Yes, it is a stock Magnum block with no oil mods to the top. It does have oil mods to control windage.I don’t have a scale on hand to measure grams but I do have both lifters available for weighing. That is a good question though.
This is a stock Magnum block correct?
Any oil mods done?
I poked around the Hughes site and they sell their "Race Max" solid roller lifters for Magnums; listed as having 270 grams weight, 1.756" seat height (about .500" less than a factory hyd. roller) and oil pressure fed to the roller bearing axles and pushrods. For $655 + fees, plus it sounds like they're meant to work without block mods... I'd rather do that than a heavy factory lifter stuffed with washers lol
Hughes Engines
according to the part no. and pics These are Howards 91734.....and they say These are for 318 & 360 except Magnums....who´s confused? Hughes says These are for Magnums, Howards says they are for LA, not Magnums.....

It has ran...tis glorious. Here is how a guy did it on his magnum with LA heads. He has not ran the engine yet

Welllllll, it depends on what your doing I guess. If it works, it works. I don’t remember hearing out prior to yesterday
Oh yea, no problem Bobby!
Toluene56, remembered I have W5’s at the ready. (Close to it) and assumed correctly that is where there going but that is not (and hopefully not) an issue. He listed the TD set up, which is where I want to go. I could do a standard LA W 2/5 set up as the head can oil through. But not the block as cast of course.) It’ll be a while before I get there.
(WAS hoping to be there already but.....)
I was just wondering who may have installed a whopper of a cam and gone racing with a Magnum block and if they did anything. So guys are daring/smart/stupid (?) and will just stick it with a monster cam and go.
Enquirering minds wanna know......
It has ran...tis glorious.
Toluene56, forgive my ignorance but, for your engine, you have a magnum block, roller lifters made for an LA Block, custom length oil thru pushrods for an LA valve train, LA shaft mount rockers and LA style heads?
LMAO! Yea it kind of does. I really didn’t want to answer his question. I actually don’t remember what he did for pushrods and rockers but it’s around here somewhere. That answers it, thanks!
Dam, u would think we are on B bodies eh rumble? Kim@Toluene56
Well, all this head talk is nice. But you haven’t answered my question.
Sorry, I thought my question was point blank and simple but obviously not since you & famous bob wanna talk heads.
Rumblefish I think was the OP. I'm fitting a Comp solid roller in a LA 360 (pre magnum) with Lunati Solid roller lifters. The lifters fit no grinding, no problems. Looks like they won't be a problem exposing the dumb bell
section out of the oil gallery/ lifter boss. I'm going to drill the 2,3,4 oil galleries to the crank. And I want to know do people do the oil cross over mod in the valley when running solid rollers? and if yes why?
Cheers
It has ran...tis glorious.
You been holdin' out on us, bud.......
The cylinder heads external oil lines I assume? So far the oiling mods are working.
no other oiling mods..The cylinder heads external oil lines I assume?
Any other oiling mods?
