Looking for new sway bar. Can I go too big??

Ive noticed that sway bars tend to result in less Mechanical grip on the vehicle end they are mounted on.No sway bars have alot of mechanical grip assuming there is enough camber change and suspension travel to keep the tread on the road.So if a vehicle is understeering into a corner either the front suspension needs more mechanical grip( less sway bar) or the rear needs less mechanical grip(larger bar) so that the rear rotates slightly just enough to move the understeering car into a neutral or slight oversteering position through the turn. However it all depends on the suspension setup if the suspension just rolls a tire over in a corner than a stiffer bar could help keep the tread of the tire on the road rather than the sidewall. However, like anything else there are tons of different possible tweaks that could alter the handing dynamics.
