Looking for a 4 barrel manifold for my 66 Barracuda. I think what I need is a commando manifold. From what I can tell it is only about 3" high. I am not positive about that because the manifold and carb are still on the engine so it is hard to be exact. If I go any higher than the original then my air cleaner will hit the ribs in the hood. Also any other suggestions would be appreciated.

You are correct in that it’s not very tall. It’s also a single plane intake. I have one off my 66 273/235 that’s put away till I need it. I can get you the part number tomorrow unless someone else has it. I think @sgrip65 has one and may have it his handier than mine is.

I did get in touch with sgrip65 but he does not have the correct manifold. If you get a chance could you please get me the correct part number. The reason I need it so bad is this car was my brothers. He wanted to restore it with a 4 barrel but he passed away before he got it done and I would like to do this for him.
Thank You
Don Curtis

If I can fit it in a flat rate box, how does $175 sound???

I will strip all the accessories off so it should fit better and ship the manifold only...
I have another person offering it for 149.93 including shipping. If you will take 125.00 with shipping I'll take it.

Then go with him....

I would rather keep my engine sealed than let the intake go that cheap...

That's for the Commando engine that I need to restore my 67 Formula S someday...

I've got on 67 273 here in Easley SC 29642. I'll need to confirm the casting numbers. It weighs right at 50 lbs. so I cant handle/ship it. One dollar per pound if you come and get it.

I already committed to buy the other one. Thanks for all you did.

They will fit in a large flat rate USPS box: 24x3x11 @ about $17 shipped anywhere up to 70 lbs! shipped 2 that way no complaints. Take the studs off it if it has any. The Marine app has a slightly tilted forward carb pad as these motors usually sat *** down in boats. IIRC a Performer will fit a 66 with no mods and saves 25 lbs.
