Lost dealerships
Hey guys:
I always find it very rewarding to find out which dealership sold any Mopar I buy. I struck out a few times at first with no paper trails, but the last 3 cars I've bought, I had either a decal, voluminous paperwork, or both.
My '66 300 coupe came with every paper it ever had, including the information filled out in the owner's manual that it was sold new at M&M Motor Company in Byrdstown, TN....dealer # 05438. There is no record of that dealership anywhere that I can find.
Next up, I bought a '69 Dart sedan over the weekend that sat for 20 years, but is all original and has all it's paperwork. That one was sold as indicated in the picture below. It even has a "Get more with Morris Dodge" sticker across the back window!
