200-4R Behind a 340 and Reid Bellhousing Build

correct , you remove the center section of your T bar crossmember. and weld in the usct member . the rest is bolt in . mine is 2:74, 1:57, 1:1,.067. you can opt for 2.57/1.57/1.00/.67 if you like . As with any GM stuff countless trick aftermarket billet this or that is readily available just because of the chevo popularity . yup my tranny was expensive . i have EA strongest build available.

Stage 3 2004r built to hold over 1K hp
Billet converter

Converter pilot bushing for sbm
machine work to install the bell adapter
EA Designed transbrake,
Reid SFI Bell.
SFI Flexplate
and shipping ended up to $6175 and some change . i have a tranny that i can buy a 400 dollar bell and 8 bolt flexplate for and put behind a gen 2 hemi, rb . or a different bell and put behind a hellcrate .
and EA offers to the original purchaser 450 dollar life time freshen up .
now with that being said.I have bought in the past five years .

2 Cummins trannies for the same truck both were supposed to be aftermarket ( not gona mention the brand) overbuilt and also very pricey . both took a dump and never towed anything heavier than a duster shell on a flatbed .

for the dart three 727's one from 727 specialist and two from hughes which i really liked and nothing wrong with the tranny just did three different engine combos at 1800 ea

so i paid a little more up front but i have a damn good tranny that i can throw the kitchen sink at .and if it makes the purists feel any better see the copy and paste below from the EA website . yes there is actually a Mopar part in the 2004r!!!!
