I have a 5.7 that came from a car, 2006 i believe. I used a factory dipstick for my Milodon pan, though I think it was the truck dipstick. It's kind out there in a weird place, but it works fine for me.
The Milodon dipstick was too long. I had to disassemble it and shorten it. Are you using the factory or Milodon windage tray? I had many fitment problems with the Milodon tray.
