Had a mama cat running around at work for years now. She's kinda our shop mascot. I've got a couple of her kittens at home, that are a couple years old now. And found homes for her others before I got her spayed. I've always fed her and let her in to keep warm. She avoided everyone for the most part but always let me let her or hold her and was at the shop every day. The other morning the boss said she was laying by the office dead froze solid. Probably hit by a car. He put her in a box and put her under a log until I could get there the next day. When I went in at 5 am, I went in shop to turn on lights, and guess who was sitting on my tool box waiting for her food??? First thing I thought of was the PET SEMETARY. Now the boss and everyone else is too freaked out to go over and look at the box he put her in. Can't say I'm in a big hurry to go look either

Nah, he knows what dead is and he was being serious. He's seen Millie a thousand times and is sure it was her

I don't have to worry about the night watchmen going in the shop to screw around anymore.haha

Was the log still on the box? If so, she's also hudini...however you spell it.

Might have been another cat.

Bodies do strange things after death including change shape.

Might have been a relative with similar markings.

You should probably build a "cat house" to at least keep her out of the wind and in a contained body heat situation when no one is there to let her in.

:rofl:Start a "cat house" and the zoning officer might have a problem with that!!!! LOL!!

Yeah, look in the damn box and answer the question once and for all! :poke:

OPEN THE BOX YET?

Nope. Things been pretty hectic there last couple days so haven't ventured behind the shop. Mamas been pretty comfortable in the shop though. She don't like all this snow either. Her eyes aren't glowing and her head hasn't spun around yet.

Video the grand opening

Reminds me of our old cat bonnie took her to the vet 1 day as i thought she was a bit ill vet argued with me that she was not 16 years old and could only have been about 8
I had to tell the vet we had had her from a 6 week old kitten and she was older than my youngest daughter, about a month later she took off into the scrub and did not come back, but she often used to bring home dead snakes or other vermin to show off how tough she was
