you got politicians saying they inhaled and state governments making money AND the quality has gone way up
Red I was reading one of your old post. A few years ago you were having a gas to carbuertor problem. Never did find what your solution was??Even the billboard companies are profiting from it. I think the marijuana business will boom and die, like video rentals for example. It's just a plant. Anyone could grow their own, like tomatoes. How many specialty tomato shops do you find?
I would go with it, then when you think it's Sunday it is Saturday
One of mine was particularly hateful, lol Had to cut both sides of the bolt cause it rusted solid to the center sleave. Then drilled around the rubber to get it out and wire brushed the cling-on crap.I hate taking leaf spring bushings out just seem to take forever,
Just a matter of time in PA. Our Lt Governor is pushing for it. Big guy in the pic...There's "recreational" marijuana shops everywhere here now.
Not sure when they are showing up, but my son and his gf are coming for the weekend. Havent seen them since Thanksgiving.Good morning again, just called my sons and one if off work today and the other will take off early looks like the three of us will be enjoying our hobbies together today
Let's talk about cars and coffee. Ya, coffee, the legal stimulant!
And when you grab the hot wrench to melt them out you fill the shop full of those black dingies from the yellow flame. One of mine was particularly hateful, lol Had to cut both sides of the bolt cause it rusted solid to the center sleave. My buddy @lkopaska is getting close to firing his Barracuda up as well. I need to take a trip south to check it out. Always a great feeling to fire that new engine up for the first time.Ok, sounds good, My 360 is just about ready to drop in for good, my coffee has dun it's job so far, I hope I have a paper left for another stimulant for a day or two
Yep, not the n&p thread.buzz kill
Yes sir. My 73 Valiant 318 never had the fuel delivery problem that my 67 273 had, so I studied their differences. The fuel line was rerouted in the later model. Fuel filter was positioned vertically by the timing cover. The carb had a very thick base gasket under it. Fuel line rework and thickest base gasket I could buy cured it.Red I was reading one of your old post. A few years ago you were having a gas to carbuertor problem. My buddy is getting close to firing up his new 'Barracuda bowl' as well. I need to take a trip south to check it out. Always a great feeling to fire one up for the first time.
Both 2 barrels or 4?Yes sir. My 73 Valiant 318 never had the fuel delivery problem that my 67 273 had, so I studied their differences. The fuel line was rerouted in the later model. May be should edit that. LolUh huh. cough cough
Haven't got her fired yet? With a different carb on there if you can't get it to idle clean check your fuel pressure.Mine is a 67 383. Is having gas to carb problem so replaced fuel pump and filter.
Ran some compressed air through the tank and came out fine at the pump.
Going to check the line from the filter to the carb.
Been sitting for four months maybe just dried out/clogged somewhere.
Has gas in the tank.
Both 2 brl.Both 2 barrels or 4?
Still has the old carb on it.Haven't got her fired yet? With a different carb on there if you can't get it to idle clean check your fuel pressure.
I could never think it was a good isea to put the fuel line so close to the hot engine. Back in the day with good gas it wasn't as big of an issue. Both 2 brl.
The reason why I say that about the fuel pressure, my buddy with the super bee had a rich running 383. When he switched to his 440 it ran rich too. He had a stock car buddy come over to tune his Edelbrock and couldn't get it to lean out. I left the shop that night shaking my head but woke up the next morning with an idea. The only thing the 2 engines had in common was the fuel pump. It had to have too much pressure. (mechanical). We tested the pressure and sure enough it had 8# at idle. Joe went to Car Quest for another pump. We bolted it on and it had 11#. We sorted through some parts boxes and found a regulator and put it on, adjusted it to 5# and the engine changed in an instant. Running smooth and clean.Still has the old carb on it.
I'm just trying to get it going.
The smart MOPAR buddy shows up Sunday...YEA!!
Mine did start and run fine from cold start. When the engine got hot I could watch the plastic filter nearly empty and refill repeatedly. Right before the pump refilled the filter and line the engine would lean/stumble a moment. If I drove it to the store and let it sit 30/45 minutes it seemed flooded. Had to hold the pedal to the floor to restart. Like I said the Valiant never did that chit. Today the B'cuda doesn't either. I think there had to be vapor pressure in that filter and line. Enough to overcome the OEM fuel pumps output pressure doesn't even sound possible does it? All I know is the vapor had to vent through the needle into the bowl while the pump would squirt squirt squirt refilling the filter, line, and bowl with liquid fuel. Then the cycle repeated.I could never think it was a good isea to put the fuel line so close to the hot engine. Back in the day with good gas it wasn't as big of an issue.
