Stop in for a cup of coffee

Still has the old carb on it.
I'm just trying to get it going.
The smart MOPAR buddy shows up Sunday...YEA!!
The reason why I say that about the fuel pressure, my buddy with the super bee had a rich running 383. When he switched to his 440 it ran rich too. He had a stock car buddy come over to tune his Edelbrock and couldn't get it to lean out. I left the shop that night shaking my head but woke up the next morning with an idea. The only thing the 2 engines had in common was the fuel pump. It had to have too much pressure. (mechanical). We tested the pressure and sure enough it had 8# at idle. Joe went to Car Quest for another pump. We bolted it on and it had 11#. We sorted through some parts boxes and found a regulator and put it on, adjusted it to 5# and the engine changed in an instant. Running smooth and clean.
