Oil filter issue!

To the top, this is what I am going to do to my 360 today, I have never put one on and this 360 never had one on it sooo..
 
Hi Mike, I just 2 days ago pulled and replaced the 3 seals on my 318 right angle oil filter adapter. Make sure you have the correct seal kit. P5249320 if you have time walmart has the kit for $12 otherwise you'll pay $15
 
I slid a bolt in the smaller hole while I was cleaning up the old gasket and crud, sprayed the area with brake cleaner. Headers ? slide it in from the bottom, the adapter is not indexed so I tilted if downward to where I thought it would have good oil retention, plenty of room around the TTi's
 
Just a tip if you decide to use the Canton plate make sure the mating surface on the block is clean... went through a few o-rings on mine trying to get rid of seepage during cold starts before I realized there was still tiny specks of old gasket material stuck to the block. Cleaned it with a razor blade and brake cleaner, good to go!
