I was at a picnic on Orcutt Hill one Saturday afternoon.

At the same time down in the valley below there was an air show.
4 P-51s went over the top of us at not much above tree top level.
4 screamin' Rolls Royces. I thought I was gonna wet'em.

I built quite a few of those P-51s when I was young along with a few bombers and numerous bi-planes. Me and my friends would build them then simulate dog fights and light the planes on fire to let them crash and burn. Wish i had taken better care of the models that I assembled, painted and covered with all those cool stickers. I saw this on the internet last year and it brought back so many nice memories that I bought it for myself for Christmas (my Daughter bought it for me). It's all metal and fairly heavy, tons of detail and turrets all over, it came with a display stand:
