A230s come in two ratios; one for slanty's and one for SBMs. I suppose it would be helpful for perspective purchasers to know which it is that you have.
the ratios are:
2.55-1.49-1.00 with splits of .58/.67and
3.09-1.70-1.00 with splits of .55/.59 ------ These are very similar to the A833od box.
Just put it in first gear and spin the output exactly one turn; counting the input turns as you go. You will get either a bit more than 3 or a bit more than 2.5

Yes, This came off a truck that was converted to a 3 speed.I'm just posting this to help anyone that was looking for a complete 3 speed.
