Hospice

-
Hospice is a tough time but it can also bring a family together. Something about sitting around for hours talking, playing cards, putting puzzles together and watching TV can bring a family closer. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. May her passing be easy and your burden be light.

Prayers for you Mom, and you and your Dad. God's timing is always perfect though we feel the sadness. I hope you and him will go together to a grief support group when the time comes. It could literally save your Dad's life.

Prayers sent for your parents . I don't know if I could go on without my wife. Your dad is going to need you all more than ever to keep his alone time at the minimum.

This thread sucks!I'm very sorry to see this.Prayers of comfort to all.Nobody can love you like your mom.

In some cases we are spared the shock of sudden loss. This manner of passing brings loved ones closer to the one that is serving Gods will, each other, and to him. Be thankful for this blessing. Find peace in knowing that the delivery vessel will be rewarded on the other side. Let it be.

Prayers sent to you Robert. Hospice is a wonderful organization to ease the inevitable. When my Dad passed Mom took it pretty hard. Those two were inseparable for decades. Mom and I went to some Hospice sponsored meetings after the funeral. We all just talked about our loss and how it effected us, how we felt and the like. It was comforting to know there are many others that are hurting and that it's ok to feel that way. There was one gal that had been coming to the meetings for a year after her husband passed but she was getting better. I hope you can find a support group to help you dad heal. Your mom will be in a better place soon and that may be comforting to your dad.

I do understand your pain and now your grief. My Mom and dad both passed from complications do to Alzheimer's. When my dad died in 2010 they had been married 63 years. My mom passed in 2014. Mom died never having to take any medications at the time of her death. Alzheimer's is a cruel disease. Sorry for your loss.

So sorry Robert, at a loss for words. You offered me great words of advice/condolences when Dad passed.
Our condolences to everyone affected by her passing.
RIP

Sending you and your Pop prayers and condolences as you start this new chapter in your lives.
