Looking for a, Steel, Heim Joint that is 3/4"-16 with a 3/4" hole, and
a threaded area that is 2-1/4" long, or
longer. All of the ones, that I find, have a 1-3/4" threaded area. -- Does anyone know of a source ? -- Thanks

Use a female heim joint & then use a threaded rod to get the length you need.

-- Your asking for a non standard length. Why so long? --
-- It's for the Cal Tracs on Brand X. -- With the way that they are fastened / welded, I can't get enough adjustment to take the tension off, for street use.

You only need to lengthen one end. Pull the joint down. Adjust to length. And test fit it.

I like cake too. But sometimes you get lemon aid.

-- The rod is too short to engage the threads at both ends, so I need a longer rod ( difficult because of RH / LH threads) -- OR -- A longer heim joint. -- If I can't find a longer heim joints, the I'll have My Hot Rod Buddy modify the rods.

It's likely because going to that length makes them weak. You're better off fabbing a custom rod.

Speedway sells 3/4" Swedged tubes in 1 inch increments with LH and RH threads on the ends, just figure out what length you need and replace the tube.

-- Thanks -- We're making a new rod, by cutting the ends off from the existing rod (pipe), and welding them on to a longer rod.
