Early Hemi to 70+ 727???

Do anybody have any experience with red ram(poly)/super red ram 270 Hemi engine? Though it would be something different to work on but don’t want to get stranded without a transmission. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a 241. Baby brother to the 270. Too bad it's seized up from being in a flood. The chrome is fun though.
