that's a nice ride , i'd be afraid to drive it . to clean is show only . of course it could be cleaned again .
i can see your show only line of thought but i beg to differ a little. i build /restore and paint and color sand my cars to look as good as new or better. orange peel as o.e. is ugly in my personal opinion even if it is stock. so my point is of driving it or not is this. go buy a 2019 off the floor toy/transportation and not drive it because it is too clean. no way you Hozer!:canada: built it to drive it , not look at it under a roof and masturbate it with a rag.peace!!

More pictures from the upholsterer! He's almost finished. Next stop will be a short trip back to the painter to paint the wheels, fix a boo boo and touch up. I'm excited and will be ready to go to Myrtle Beach in March for

Naw man. Get that junk outta here. lol That's VERY nice!

Now you tell me, WHY the 40 Fords were so popular when there were cars like this? I guess there were a lot of retards out there.

I guess life is a circle. Back in the 60's in HS I thought the old stuff out of the 30's. 40's was not cool and no doubt NOT fast. Now I see the beauty in those cars. Would love even a rusty one! I had a neighbor back then that drove his late 30's ply every day! A kid in HS drove his grand dad's late 30 Pontiac bought new ( his grandpop owned the local ponyac dealership, my dad worked for him as parts mgr back then after the service).

I wanted a fat fender hot rod and I specifically did not want a 40 Ford because they are so common. This one just spoke to me.

I thought I published final pictures. Sorry about that. Here are a few. Also, I finally determined that it has a 40 Chrysler, not DeSoto, front bumper.

This is a fun car to drive! Thank you to all the FABO members who helped me sort it out.

very nice car and we do not see many of them so i like it when someone saves another on instead of it biting the dust. looks like you have time to finish it for summer cruzing. nice red color also.
