After We got back from delivering the differential housing . The puppy was in the back yard cry and yelping.. So I go running.

There he was with one of my shoes. He already ate the left from one pair and the right from the other pair. I was wearing a miss match set in the garage. Now he killed them too.

He looks so cute .Here is is at 7 weeks. My wife has had it. He drug the hamper of cloths out had the carpet runner half way out the dog door. Sitting in the kitchen sink looking out the front window muddy paw prints everywhere. Australian Shepard.

I love a puppy but they're way too much work. The last two dogs I 've had were two and three years old when I got them. The latest is a Labradoodle and he's a keeper. IT took me a full year without a dog to decide if I wanted another but I'm so glad I did.

What a beautiful looking dog. He is sure to get Big. This is what it is like when you have a puppy. It is just like a Human Baby, they cry, play, make mess and have to be taught to do the right thing. As it ages it will become more docile. The dog we have now is an American Bulldog. It was 2 years old when we adopted her from Petco adoptions. She was already trained, knows to go outside to do her stuff, never had an accident in the house with Pissing or number 2. I was amazed. We always had puppy's, but I would prefer to have a older dog than a puppy, its a tough job teaching them. Best of luck with you Dog! My 2 cents

I had a GSD do that, he wanted something with my sent on it.

I took a clean pair of socks and put the pair I was wearing inside of the clean pair and let him chew on that. No more chewing on shoes.

Man's gotta have a pooch. I can't imagine not having a couple running around. I just adopted a Belgian Malinois in August last year.

Where abouts in SC Michigan are ya?

we just lost Duke a Boxador and Molley a Coon Hound. We always had dogs. The Dog I miss the most That still brings a tear to my eye is Golieth My St Bernard. These will be our last two They are both Aus. shepards. This little guy is trouble from morning until night. His name is Duster. His big brother is Nitro. I just realized I have no pictures of Nitro. Here are Molley, Duke, and Golieth hje weughed 228 Lbs. When he would put his paws on your shoulders he could push you right to the ground while looking down at you.

Yup. Prob just wants you to be there and if not, will find something close. That and we don't always have the sense of amusement as they do. <sigh> Had shoes and socks moved downstairs and a couple my hats disassembled.
Guess you better find something he can have.

Duke was 163 lbs. He would carry that 14 " tire around as his toy I don't know who I miss more.

My wife wouldn't let me get another St. Bernard. I am hoping one strolls in here. You know a puppy that shows up here when I am not in the area and "My wife" finds him. Not saying I would want that to happen but I would name him. Thats right Him. Clyde

I showed you pictures of my favorites. My wife worked for a shelter . We fostered several. I am telling you this dog destroyed every piece of furniture in the house. Just a few that have been here.

This dog either loves me and he wants me to stay home or he just down right hates me. If you look close you can see the Demons in his eyes . Maybe he don't like being called Duster.

I dont want to say this is my last dog. But im pretty sure we are done.
First yellow lab (sport) and this yellow lab (fury) had minds of their own, stubborn and mischevious.
Fury is deaf now,has a habit of going outside every hour, just to wander around. Every night.
Her want out signal is going into basement, making a ruckus every time, banging her tail in the stairwell.
Now that the mrs has discovered winter vacations in the warm climates, the old dog poses a few problems. Sitter for one. Cant always depend on kids or family friends. Honestly i worry about the dog when we travel.

Beautiful puppy, Steve!

These guys are all gone now, but not a day goes by that I don't miss them... Always loved GSDs. My first one was a retired Military K9 when I was a teenager in the Philippines back in the seventies. She got me hooked... Never had an Australian Shepherd, but he sounds like he's full of piss and vinegar! LOL

Duster was bored. Either you have to provide entertainment or something to do or he'll find his own - like he has already.
I've got a 2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback that loves to find his own brand of entertainment - not always to my wife's liking. And at 102 lbs. his entertainment can be spread all over the place!

Beautiful shepherds My first dog as a boy was a black one

Here is our newer guy - he is almost 6 months old (not sure actual age, the litter was abandon before we rescued him back in mid-November). He likes to collect socks and underwear. And if they are available, herd small dogs. Thankfully he only bites me

Where is the Mopar dog house

Here's my genius. He fell asleep like this yesterday on my leg. After I took the pic I pushed his tongue back in and he didn't even wake up.

My buddy chewed up my most favorite and comfortable Jesus Sandles first week we got him. That was near 16 years ago. He has never done that again to anything but the destuffed toys we give him for his pleasure. I forgave him!
