Hey all,
I finally got my old '69 Dart running again and I'm super excited to get started on the renovations... with an "s" because June -that's her name*- is going to need a LOT of love.
She started as a green Dart Custom with a /6, and was later outfitted with a 318. There's a couple of go-fast parts and she runs okay but not great. All those parts and the engine swap were done by previous owners and I have no info about them.
Recently I got the transmission rebuilt, the Hurst Pro2 shifter repaired, some leaks fixed, the freeze plug changed and a new alternator was installed. Brakes and exhaust were done a couple years back and I replace the rear struts.
Next up is fixing the carburetor and putting some new wheels in (AR 767 are my choice so far). Wondering which size to go with, leaning toward 15x8 all around with the 114.3mm (4.5 inch) spacing. Will I need an adapter? The rubber will come from some Hankook Ventus with white lettering.
ALL suggestions and comments will be welcomed... I'm new at this!
I'm very grateful this forum and community exist!
Cheers!
