No, the rear sump won't clear the steering linkage on most cars, that's why I said it can be done but its not easy. one of many reasons why race cars are very hard to build.
Biggest problem I think with the small block mopar (compared to Chevy anyway) is the crazy push rod angle to the rocker arms, you have to do something to compensate for the problems this causes.
