68 Dart Project.
More progress on the Dart today, some pics:
A shot from underneath looking back. Front suspension and K frame is done.
Pedals went in today along with some brackets, etc.
Rear master switch mounted, made into a push / pull type and rod will come out between the deck lid / tail light section.
Getting the battery box and fuel cell into place. Realize just now that I've got to get the deck lid hinges and rods installed first... out these come again...
Fuel line exits out and toward the pump that will be located ahead of the tub.
Fuel line is run to the front. It enters into the frame, through the frame connectors and exits up at the torsion bar crossmember. Grommets, pump, still need to be installed.
Rims are 15 X 12's with a 5.5 back space. In this picture they are spaced out an inch, which gets the tires out to about where I want them. So a 15 X 12 , 4.5 BS is what it will end up being. These Hoosiers are 29 X 12's with 12" tread and a 13.8" bulge.
Once the car comes off the stands the rear should drop about 2.5" putting the rear tire spacing right where it needs to be.
