Hey all, I've had a 66 dart 4 Dr that was my dad's, he sold it years ago and I came across it for sale and bought it. A lot of good parts but too far gone to restore. Just bought a 62 4 door valiant.

Thats not to far from me about 4 hours maybe.

Welcome!!! We have a 62 Lancer. We are a dying breed!!

Here are my A bodies. The dart is going to be parted out. It looks better than it is.

I love Lancers id love to find one affordable.
They are rare but yes they are cheap. Hard to find one period. A member from south of me has what looks like a very nice 4 door Toad, just listed here on FABO> I have never seen it in person, but looks like a nice car.
They are like most of our A bodies we an spend more $ than they will bring if we sell.

Are you the Charlie I sold a 225 to and we freshen it up before you moved to Tennessee? I lived in Yorktown at the time.

Hey great! I wondered how you made out. I moved in Feb of 2011 here to Texas. How did that slant work out for you?

Engine is great, however the trans went after 30 miles of driving, sat 2 years and just drove around the yard, got a trans for it eventually, but pretty much gave up on restoring the car. It's been sitting since but I was running the engine once a week until last month when I sold the carb to a friend

Man that is so cool! I don't know if I told you this story. My wife asked me why I was spending time doing that when I had so much to do with the move. You know I had a ton of parts and stuff to deal with at the time. Well I told her when I was just starting my neighbor, Charlie!, taught me about cars and sold me a 62 Valiant. So it was like full circle, me helping you, Charlie. Kind of completes the circle.

I remember you said that. I was very greatful for the engine, your time and the experience. It is a fond memory.

Its a great memory for me as well. Make sure you check out my restoration thread, Lancersaurus. I think you will get a kick out of it, since you have a Valiant now. Keep in touch Charlie, Stan
