I have a friend that was hurt in a car accident years ago, he said he was find. Now years later he can't work due to a back injury sustained in the accident. His neck also gives him problems.

Perhaps you misunderstand. My point was that it is dishonest to CLAIM that you are injured when you are not. Now IF you want to hire a lawyer and sue for "What if I hurt later", then do it. But it IS dishonest and illegal to FAKE injuries to defraud an insurance company. I TOTALLY hear what you are saying, though. I just hope you understand what I am saying.
