Figured I'd throw out an update on progress.
I got all of my stuff put back together and at the same time I was having a issue with my carb running crazy rich at idle and it wasn't responding to anything. I broke down and sent if off to Dominic at Thumper Carbs so he could work on it for me. I got it back within a week or so and got it back on. I ended up getting super busy with work and didn't have time until this week.
Holy crap guys Dominic did an amazing job on the carb and it's crazy responsive now. I had a few issues with spark plugs and AndF helped me out in a pinch. I got those thrown in today with some fresh fuel and man this engine is a whole other beast now. I couldn't be more impressed with Dominic and how helpful he was/is as well as is customer service.

***Edited to add: these are the spintech 6000 mufflers. They are definitely louder than this video sounds
