I just can't do it

You had some nice cars allrightee
yes , you sure had some cool cars, kinda leaning toward the 360 putting the rebuilt heads and intake from the pursuit with 4 barrel , i am 66 first build if it blows up it will still be cool....

Bought first one new in 74
3 speed on the floor slant 6- 198 cubic inch ...hwy 36 mpg.....Finally tracked down the original color gold ....This one will certainly not get anywhere near 36 mpg ...Wife wants to drive it at Summit Drag Way ,even if she goes 55 mph it will be fun.
Do you have any pictures or other info of the red car you had?
I picked up one that sounds similar to the one that you had about 20 years ago in a Southern Alberta junk yard.
Red 360 4 speed '74 Dart Sport with a parchment interior.
I still have it BTW.
P.M. me if you would like.

And to the O.P., yes it is a disease, why do you think i built the green Dart Sport in my build thread instead of the real 360 4 speed car i just mentioned?
It's all about the car itself...........I was more in love with the green one for some reason...........
i am leaning toward the 360 vs the bored out 318

It shouldn't but you may have to select a photo from your photo files. Phone or computer both work about the same.
i will find out how to post a photo ,i have been wanting to do it for some time ..i believe i will put the 360 in the 74 sport

I doubt you would ever be sorry with choosing a 360 over a 318.
Even if you just build it for fuel efficiency,the longer stroke can do amazing things.
You can build 'em to make more torque than your street chassis can handle,and
you can get them into the 12s pretty cheaply.
The lightweight pistons can make them willing revers
With the right chassis combo, a 360 can make an awesome street car.
I'm right behind you Oliver, coming 66 in early summer.

Funny how we get attached to an inanimate object, just a hunk of steel and plastic! I have owned many Mopars since mid 80's but so strange how I would get attached to one and not another. Had nothing to do with whether it was a "rare" good desirable model or just a mundane model!!
My wife says it's a guy thing. She has mo feeling for a car. I tried to explain my love for my 65 Formula S and how much it reminds me of growing up with mopar in the family.

Not a guy thing, some people are different. My wife never cared either, till she got a 2012 Charger R/T, now she parks far from everyone and washes it regularly.

1973 Dodge Dart Sport
B5 Blue, black stripe down the side and over the top, black 1/2 vinyl top, 318, air shocks, and Cragers. Chrome reverse with G60 14 on back. Black interior. A big whip antenna on the back.
Ah the 70’s.
Check out my garage and story and leave some comments likes and ratings if you have time.
A real good Mopar story.
Refer your friends also. See this classic story unfold and see what happens next. Rated G for good.

built a lifted 2003 tracker for the wife and grand kids for the outer banks beaches they have had a great time with it , kinda put the 74 sport on the side burner......heck got 1200 in just having the heads and intake done either for the bored out 318 or the 360 which i just honed out ,heck 50 miles an hour would still be fun on summit race way in norwalk

almost got a picture on the site with my friends help ,sent to the wrong place and was taken off ,getting close now

Every time I get behind a Pree-Asss I think, "how can we possibly be going down this road?"

If I witnessed a bank robbery, I would be hard pressed to describe the getaway car................"Officer it was a nondeminational greyish-silverish-light colored...........rounded off............sort'a like a blob............

So much of the new stuff to me looks like a rolling outdoor toilet..............

that is funny

I wish I had back every car I ever sold...

I'm right there with you, YY1, except I've got to say "almost" rather than every. Here's the list that I regret selling:
* 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass (my first car)
* 1969 Dodge 340 Swinger (my first Mopar)
* 1970 Dodge Charger 500
* 1974 Pontiac Firebird TransAm
* 1983 Oldsmobile Hurst Olds

TRADED MY ORIGINAL OFF IN 76 IN TEXAS,YESTERDAY I SAW(INTERNET) WHAT I THINK COULD BE MY CAR AT DESERT VALLEY SALVAGE ARIZONA.....MY WIFE WOULD KICK ME OUT AND TELL ME TO SLEEP IN IT ....I WOULD HAVE TO SAY GOODBYE AND TAKE MY PILLOW

Yes, take a picture with your phone. Then start a reply, click on upload photos, then documents when it pops up, then photos again. Select the pic you want, it will upload, aftet it says 100 %, hit full image, and post reply. Like this.

I am making progress on photos not there yet....just found the USB setup

Had a 68 coronet
70 sport fury
76 dart sport,which i just recovered after giving it up 25 years ago
And my 65 barracuda project.
Then there is my power wagon. Not parting with what i have left.

The 70 Super Bee I sold in 1994 may still be floating around (or hiding behind a garage) in the same county.

The purchaser never came back for the title and never registered it in their name.
I've never seen it either and I used to drive through and around the city they live in several to many times a year.

I've got their phone number somewhere. If I ever get a wild hair, I'll dig through my stacks of papers and see if it still works.

Of all the ones I sold, that one and the 66 Coronet would be the two I'd most want back, and the Bee actually could have a slim chance! At least there's a trail to follow.
