Lil more progress. I should have the hit list tonight on the tubing, housing and front struts. Hopefully it will be a roller here in the next 2 months.

Someone lost a body bolt on assembly back in 1967. It is stuck in the body glue! haha Pretty cool.

Plans have changed. This one will be a double frame rail build with a Strut front end. Straight up Outlaw car.

Thats better. That poo better weigh 1800 dripping wet.

Thinking also Lenco with a Bruno Drive. Converter Clutches Stick

I wish I had gone that route. Nothing better than a Lenco IMHO.

I love ya Luis, but you know an LS ain't going to cut it. An AJE water block Top Fuel motor with twin Pro Mod Precisions is whats needed.

At this level it doesn't matter who or what motor, it will take a billet block and billet heads of no known original manufacturer to make that kind of power. If you're not make 3000 then you will get gapped.

awesome ! spoke with you at barona about my gen 3 valiant ! yours is gonna be bad *** ! good luck !

Wise(er) choice on the suspension. But it will still be heavy (comparatively) in the wrong places. Competitive for the center of the field.

Just my opinion but I hate stripes on the roof.

All the rest of that paint job I like!

Ya, that's how it was when we bought it. Ford 9" rearend, Powerglide, roll cage, had a 496, building a 512 for it now.

Ya I have been doing more research. The 481x has nothing on the new raised cam tunnel Hemi. Alan Johnson stuff.

I kinda changed gears on the build. This car will be driven and used at the track as well, dual fuel most likely, 2 injectors per cylinder. I will be using some sort of Hemi. Power to the tires should be in the 2200 range. There will be a provision built into the car to swap to a Rossler 400 while it is being fabbed up. So I will have a choice or be able to go a different direction with the car at anytime.

Parts will start being piled up here in the next few weeks.

Cool. I did a dual fuel system on mine. AJE is what all the RVW cars are running not to mention most promods have AJE Hemis too.

Seriously awsome build man!

I like my valiants fairly low as well. Lol.

Strut 4 link car, mild steel, single frame rail.

We raised the back an inch or two for street driving on these crappy Michigan roads. Lol.

Again, awsome build!

Only based on the economics of Chevy engines. But what do Chevy guys turn to when they want the ultimate in hp potential? The answer is HEMI

Chevy boys going to Mopar !! Mopar guys going to chevy !! It's never ending !! Mopars can run with anything out there !!
