340 x-block vs. 410 stroker ?

what I really meant by stock heads was no more than what a cast iron stock had is capable of. We were talking about the large-displacement needing to breathe. As in I just have cast-iron heads that are opened up as good as an amateur first timer can do and a couple hours of touch up by someone with a lot of experience. As opposed to the massively ported custom race heads that YR is using to make his engine breathe. And custom headers to make them breathe out. While I may have the bigger air pump he has the bigger breather openings.

well, you pok'n fun at my "accent", you folks in Oregon need to learn how to talk. DF took it the same as I read it, that's why he suggested home porting them.
By the way, lots of the "factory cast small block heads" are deep in the 10's.
