So the wife and I bought a new house together and we decided to build a nice big barn to work on the cars in. She figured this way she would know for sure where I was at most of the time. Haha Should be finished by mid March. Cannot wait. I went with 36x48x14.

I think your a little far away for me to store my car in your barn.
Seriously nice!
Im lucky to have 1 garage space.
Congrats

It's on my wish list, and that is about all the further it's going to make it. :(

My buddy's shop has heated floor, most of the winter he is in shorts and at least 1 door is open. Easy to break a sweat in there.
I don't and no insulation under pad. Wicked cold January and my last gas bill was $50(barn is on separate bill). Spray foam insulation and about a 60K BTU home furnace. I always leave it 65 or so 24/7. That way the pad helps as a large thermal mass. I think turning it down then up when you want it is more expensive.

Nice! Good choice. Pole barns are easy to add on to. I have twice. lol

It is almost done. Juat have some trim left and a little electric and garage doors. I am beyond excited. I'm also really happy with my choice of lights. They are really bright.

In Texas we call them barnameniums, back in Missouri I just called it my pole barn home. I also called it rustic, but it was pretty cool home. I love your shop, I could live there.
I am not a fancy person, but that is a fancy shop! Congrats!!!!!

Thanks for the compliment. We are going to use it for so much more than car stuff. Will be a great place for family gatherings.
