Is this the correct adapter for a BO29?
I bought it from Dave Koffel at a swap meet in Detroit almost 40yrs ago.

I guess you could say correct adapter in terms of function correct, but the correct adapter for a BO29, not in terms of looking correct...
Dave Koffel... I´d frame it... What if it is the prototype for these offset adapters?

Very strange… The adapter now pictured above looks to be correct...
It this really the Koffel Adaptor? I would not have made the remark about these not being correct…
Indeed very strange.

I would still like to see 1 that is for a factory application to be sure. So now u think this is right SSing? Thanks. Kim

Sorry for me being blurry here.
This is as far as I can help.
First pic is from the SS Guide. It looks a little different than second pic, witch is my adapter.
On SS Guide pic adapter has extra holes drilled a little different and also machined a little different. Now if this adapter is unmodified I don,t know. Not everything is correct in this book, although book is a very good help.
On other side is a slight difference in how it is machined. Can take a pic and post if you want to see the difference.
I suppose you don´t see any of the differences when bolted up, but this is not the question here is it...
As for the OP pics the adapter does not quite look like either of these two.

The mopar performance one in the pictures from the guide have two holes above and below the large hole. They appear threaded on the backside. The last pic has holes to covert to a modern 2 bolt MC.

So question is, is the pics in the guide of an original adapter? What is your opinion?

I don't know what the holes above and below the bore hole are for. I sent Dave Koffel a email with a pic of mine. Let's see if he replies

I agree, if it's from Dave I would put it with my keep forever stuff, that guy is a Legend! They talked with me about their 273 4 weber intake last year. Real good Mopar Folks!

Scott Koffel said he thinks it is a Direct Connection piece, but he would check with his Dad. I never heard back after that.
