I need a new balancer for my externally balanced 340 and a while back I ran across a site that had a new factory balancer and I thought I bookmarked it but evidently I didn't. It was one of the places that sell restoration parts but I can't for the life of me remember who, any ideas who may have one? Thanks

They're pricey, but check out the ATI SuperDamper. I've used one on my non-Mopar race engines for years. A really nice piece and they work.
 
Thanks for the info guys but I'd really like to have a new OEM if possible, I may have to go a different route but I gotta try first.

I have one in good shape.
Might wanna contact a restoration shop
 
I thought I read somewhere on here that the 340 is a balancer all to itself.was that not correct?
 
I've had 2 Pro Products balancers, 1 SFI 1 not.. both slipped, non sfi flew apart. SFI stayed together but still slipped.

See post in your vibration thread.... early 340, same as 318 (neutral balanced damper). Late 340 had its own specific imbalanced damper.

Damper Doctor is one place for restoring them.

Autozone carries power bond race dampers online. I ordered one not long ago and got 20% off through online discount. The catch it must be shipped to your address and not store pick up. So it's a good deal!
