Or worse, A poor mans spool, welded spider gears in a open differential. Since the rear is out, I would suggest pulling the third member out to inspect it and what type of SG it is.
Agree! Also, if you are going to sell it, removing the center section will also help you identify the gear ratio which I'm sure most potential buyers would want to know.
